Affiliate Program Policy

1) Eligibility & Approval

To maintain quality and prevent abuse, the affiliate program is approval-based. Applying does not automatically guarantee access.

• Approval is required: Your account becomes active only after internal review.
• Accurate details: You must submit correct name, phone, email, and social links (if any).
• Right to reject: FREEMEN may reject applications that appear fake, incomplete, or risky.
• Ongoing eligibility: Even after approval, violations can lead to suspension.

2) Affiliate Links & Attribution

After approval, you receive a unique tracking link (and sometimes a coupon code). Attribution means: which influencer gets credit for an order.

• Unique link: Each influencer has a different link that identifies the source of traffic.
• Attribution logic: Orders are credited based on tracking data available at the time of purchase.
• Multiple creators: If a customer clicks multiple links, attribution may depend on the latest eligible click/session.
• Coupon impact: If a customer uses another coupon code, attribution may change accordingly.

3) Commission Rules

Commission is the earnings you receive for eligible orders influenced by your link/code. The program is designed to be fair, trackable, and returns-safe.

• Calculation basis: Commission is calculated on net paid order value (after discounts/refunds).
• Rate may vary: Commission % can differ by creator tier, category, or campaign.
• Status flow: Orders typically show as Pending first, then Confirmed, then Paid.
• Reversals: If an order is cancelled/returned, the commission may be removed.

4) Eligible vs Invalid Orders

Only genuine customer purchases qualify. We filter out activities that are not real influence-based sales.

• Eligible: Real customers who purchase through your link or use your coupon.
• Invalid: Fake orders, test orders, self-orders, or manipulated orders.
• Abuse detection: Suspicious patterns (many orders from same IP/device/payment) may be flagged.
• Final decision: FREEMEN may disqualify any order that looks fraudulent or policy-violating.

5) Cookies & Tracking

Tracking helps us identify which influencer influenced a purchase. This can involve cookies and session tracking.

• Tracking methods: Affiliate tracking may use cookies or similar methods depending on browser/device settings.
• Limitations: Ad blockers, privacy settings, iOS restrictions, or browser changes can reduce tracking accuracy.
• Fair resolution: In rare cases, if tracking is missing, we may not be able to credit the order.
• Do not hack tracking: Any attempt to manipulate tracking can lead to permanent suspension.

6) Returns / Cancellations / RTO

Since e-commerce has cancellations and returns, commissions are finalized only after the risk window clears.

• Return-safe model: Commission becomes confirmed after the return/cancellation window clears (as per store policy).
• Cancelled / Returned orders: Commission becomes zero or adjusted for that order.
• Partial refunds: Commission may reduce proportionally.
• RTO cases: If shipment returns to origin, commission is not payable.

7) Payouts

Payout is when confirmed commission is sent to you through the configured payment method.

• Payout schedule: Weekly or Monthly (as per program schedule)
• Payment method: UPI / Bank Transfer (NEFT/IMPS)
• Verification: We may verify payout details before releasing payment (to avoid wrong transfers).
• Threshold: A minimum payout limit may apply (if configured in program settings).

8) Allowed Promotion Methods

You are free to promote using normal creator methods, as long as it stays honest and non-spam.

• Allowed: Instagram reels/stories, YouTube descriptions, WhatsApp sharing (non-spam), Facebook posts, blogs.
• Allowed: Product reviews, unboxing content, styling content, gifting ideas, festival content.
• Allowed: Sharing your link in bio, highlight, pinned comment (where supported).
• Recommended: Use real images/videos and clear CTA for better conversion.

9) Prohibited Activities

These actions damage the brand and create tracking fraud. They are strictly not allowed.

• No fake orders: Creating orders to generate commission (self-order or arranged orders).
• No misleading claims: Don’t claim “real gold/silver” if product is fashion / imitation.
• No coupon scraping: Posting coupons on random deal sites unless we approve it in writing.
• No spam: Bulk DMs, automated messaging, or forced sharing tactics.
• No brand keyword ads: Do not run paid ads using FREEMEN brand name unless written permission.
• No impersonation: Don’t pretend you are official staff or customer care.

10) Disclosure Requirements

You must clearly disclose affiliate promotions to maintain transparency and platform compliance.

• Simple disclosure: “Affiliate link”, “I may earn commission”, “Paid partnership” (if paid).
• Where to disclose: Captions, stories, video description, or any visible area near the link.
• Do not hide it: Hidden disclosures can lead to removal from the program.

11) Brand Usage Guidelines

We want creator freedom — but brand trust must stay protected.

• Approved creatives: You may use official banners/images shared by FREEMEN.
• No misleading editing: Do not edit logos to look like fake certificates or false guarantees.
• No negative manipulation: Avoid content that harms brand trust or promotes false narratives.
• Removal request: We may request you to remove content that violates policy.

12) Suspension / Termination

If policy is violated, we may suspend access and take action to protect the program.

• Commission hold: Suspicious accounts may have commission held during review.
• Reversal: Fraudulent commission can be reversed even after it appears in dashboard.
• Termination: Repeated violations can permanently disable your account.
• Legal action: Serious abuse may result in legal escalation where required.

13) Policy Updates

We may update this policy as the program evolves or due to platform/legal requirements. Continued participation means you accept updated policy.
